my urge is downward
in pursuit of the safety
which cannot fall further

I'm so weary of being a crawler
on the surface of the earth;
a dallier on the edge of the precipice

Lord I am so tired !
I want to forget my sins
and the world's weariness

I want to lie down and sleep and die
Death is best
because there is no reveille

Death is the last free loyality
within our grasp;
our final leisue
the completition of the edifice

How welcome is death to I.
who have nothing more to do but die
