Contaminated Area

Contaminated Area is the latest release from Dissecting Table, the solo project of Japanese noise/industrial artist Ichiro Tsuji. 
This album solidifies Tsuji’s position as a pioneer in the harsh noise and industrial music scenes, delivering a visceral sonic experience that explores themes of environmental and societal decay. 

Dissecting Table’s signature sound, driven by Tsuji’s custom-built synthesizer system, is at the forefront of Contaminated Area. 
Utilizing pulse-width modulation (PWM), state-variable filters, biquad circuits and multiple synthesizer, Tsuji crafts a dense, multi-layered soundscape that blends harsh noise with industrial textures.

The title Contaminated Area and the track names suggest a thematic focus on pollution, decay, and the futile struggle to restore purity in a broken world. 
"Death From Infection" likely draws inspiration from environmental disasters or societal collapse, while "Black Purification System" implies a corrupted or dystopian attempt at salvation.
