Re-edition of the tape out in 2023 plus an aditional bonus track.
The Day of the Antler has been called the best kept secret in the Finnish industrial underground, and those who have heard the small-run self-released tapes or the brilliant ’Jordrök’ CD on Heavy Meditation label can definitely confirm that.
The sound palette of The Day Of The Antler has been varying from rural industrial to kosmische ambience.
This new release, ’Love Beyond Love’, presents the most noisy material we’ve heard from the project so far.
The noise here is harsh, rough, and tactile.
You can almost feel the dry, cracked and hardened hands, the tectonic ground movements and the sonic erosion that is molding the aural landscape.
But besides the colossal and earthy heaviness, there are also achingly beautiful moments, that make the release something else that just another noise tape.
Like all The Day Of The Antler material, there is profound depth in it.
The core is found by peeling layer after layer, revealing the love beyond love.
